乔治湖战役

乔治湖战役是1755年9月8日发生于纽约省以北的一场战役^[1]，为英国在英法北美战争中将法国人驱逐出北美的运动的一部分^[2]。法方由让-阿尔芒将军和德迪斯考男爵（英语：Jean Erdman, Baron Dieskau）统领各正规军及非正规军；英方则是威廉·约翰逊（英语：Sir William Johnson, 1st Baronet）麾下的殖民非正规军和易洛魁族战士组成的军队^[3]。这场战役分为三个阶段，最终以英国及其盟友的胜利告终。及后，约翰逊在该处筑起威廉亨利堡（英语：Fort William Henry），以巩固其势力。
