《Century Child》是芬蘭交響金屬樂團日暮頌歌的第四張錄音室專輯，其由Spinefarm Records發行於2002年。這是現貝斯手和男主唱Marco Hietala第一張參與的專輯。
這張專輯是明顯的改變了以前的Nightwish作品抒情於注重音樂性的風格。相對於輕快的《Oceanborn》和《Wishmaster》，專輯總體的音樂策劃顯得慢而低沉，更注重氛圍和旋律傾向。其包含管弦樂背襯、一個空靈的作品、塔雅·圖倫尼的溫和而帶有少量歌劇風格的聲音，以及Marco的歌聲，如《Ever Dream》、《Slaying the Dreamer》、《Dead to the World》、《Feel for You》和《The Phantom of the Opera》；此外歌詞有描繪強烈概念專輯的潛在傾向。這也可以認為夜願的最低沉的專輯之一。專輯收到了強烈的正面評價。《Century Child》也是吉他手Emppu Vuorinen為配合Hietala的D調貝斯而將吉他調為D調的第一張專輯。
Spinefarm Records在2002年髮型了專輯的2-CD特別版。其中包含了CD，帶有樂隊成員簽名的藝術線條，一個收錄他們翻唱Gary Moore歌曲《Over the Hills and Far Away》的音樂影片的VCD。此外，一個包含ID代碼的小冊子允許所有者在有限的時間內從互聯網下載整個專輯和三個附加曲目。附加曲目包括《Nightwish》、《The Forever Moments》和《Etiäinen》，他們全都來自樂隊1996年的首個樣本專輯。
專輯超過60,000套的銷量獲得了芬蘭的雙白金認證，專輯也是2002年芬蘭銷量第二高的芬蘭專輯。《Century Child》在芬蘭售出超過90,000套[2]。在全球，專輯在2002年和2003年間售出超過35萬套。
