制作
[编辑]该计划于2015年9月首次公布，凯特·布兰切特将在阿伦·索尔金编剧的电影出演露西尔·鲍尔[1]。2017年8月，亚马逊影业收购了该片的发行权[2]。
制作最初于2019年11月在加利福尼亚州获得了电影税收抵免[3]，而据制片人透露将于2020年1月与导演会面[4]。然而，在2021年1月，布兰切特退出了该计划，妮可·基德曼为取代布兰切特进行洽谈，而哈维尔·巴登为出演德西·阿纳兹进行洽谈，该片由索金执导[5]。2021年2月，J·K·西蒙斯和妮娜·阿里安达加入演员阵容，分别饰演威廉·弗劳利和维维安·万斯[6]。
拍摄
