制作
[编辑]该项目于2013年开始开发，由亚卓安·林恩执导，福克斯2000电影公司负责融资。福克斯2000于2018年将版权卖给新摄政。2019年8月，该项目有了新进展；本·阿弗莱克和安娜·德·阿玛斯签约出演，[3]沃尔特迪士尼工作室电影同意透过旗下的二十世纪福克斯（后更名为二十世纪影业）发行该片[4]。2019年10月，特雷西·莱特与蕾切尔·布兰查德加入演出阵容[5]。
电影于2019年11月4日在新奥尔良展开主要拍摄，其他加入的演员包括李利·莱尔·豪艾里、芬·韦特罗克、雅各布·艾洛蒂、洁德·斐迪南（Jade Fernandez）与达什·米霍克[6][7][8]。2019年12月，迈克尔·布劳恩（Michael Braun）签约参演[9]。
发行
[编辑]电影在美国原定于2020年11月13日上映，但由于COVID-19疫情影响，使上映日期推迟至2021年8月13日，并再次推迟至2022年1月。[4][10]后排定于2022年1月14日上映[11]。2021年12月9日，本片档期撤下[12]。四天后，据报导，电影将移至美国Hulu独家发行和Amazon Prime Video的国际独家发行[13]。2022年2月14日，宣布电影定档2022年3月18日上线Hulu[14]。
