简繁自动转换没了？

我印象中，曾经维基百科可以在不电击导航条情况下，自动转换简繁（根据IP？）。地址栏显示为zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/***。现在怎么没了？若不每次都点简繁转换，甚至有时条目里一句话也简体和传统中文一起上。Genhuan (留言)

在左上角（视外观面板而异，我的是Vector）有不轉換、大陆简体、港澳繁體、马新简体和台灣正體不同选项可以选择的下拉连结，最好的方法是在用户偏好设定里的字体转换拦设定自己的字体变换。设定完成后，每次在浏览维基时，电脑便会自动转换成自己习惯的字体和用语。

RefToolbar 2.0

繁简转换问题

繁简转换标签似乎无法被加在 "；" 符号的后面，当标签内定义三个地区以上的资料时会发生其中一个地区会错误显示到不该显示的资料。举例来说：当在标签内定义 zh-cn、zh-hk、zh-tw 时，用大陆简体浏览页面时可以正常显示为 zh-cn 所定义的资料，用港澳繁体浏览页面时可以正常显示为 zh-hk 所定义的资料，不过用台湾繁体浏览页面时显示的条目资料却不是 zh-tw 的资料，而是被错误显示到了zh-hk 的资料。这种情况发生在条目【HiYo冲天跑】的人物介绍。这种情况可能是维基系统的天生限制，如果要想办法让这三者地区显示它们应该要显示的资料，就必须要把前头的 "；" 符号给消除，不过这样就没办法让文字以粗体显示了。如果不消除 "；" 符号又不能让 cn、hk、tw 都能正常分别显示它们应该要显示的文字。这种情况不知可否改善。MSSP (留言) 2010年6月19日 (六) 06:52 (UTC)

Vector的问题

我用的是Chrome 5，换成Vector后出现了一点问题：

• 左工具栏的新条目显示无法使用，但换回旧版面仍可使用。

你好 我们目前是中研院资讯所电脑通讯实验室,主要是想把我们所研究的汉字及异体字计划的资料,放在wiktionary上

目前有人工编辑几个测试页面,如http://zh.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E5%8F%83

之前有尝试过用php curl方式写程式去post资料,但管理员有提醒我们必需要再登入过账号密码后才能post资料

所有另外申请lccfbot这组账号,但目前我们不确定我们程式执行的方式是否正确,目前做到的部分是

1.在http://zh.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?title=Special:%E7%94%A8%E6%88%B7%E7%99%BB%E5%BD%95&returnto=Wiktionary:%E9%A6%96%E9%A1%B5 写程式登入lccfbot账号密码

2.再登入过账号密码之后,请问接下来bot程式行为,也就是要去自动编辑类似http://zh.wiktionary.org/w/index.php?title=%E5%8F%83&action=submit这个页面 用curl post资料过去时,要post哪些资料过去,以让系统了解到我们是用哪组账号去编辑该页面

因为怕传过去的参数不对,导致会在匿名情况下编辑公开页面,

js的中文问题

我试了一试（CSS、JS、projectbanners、Monobook、参数设置中将 Vector 外观调回原来的 Monobook ），好像是因为英文版上评审过的条目的讨论页都挂着详细的{{模板:ArticleHistory}}，而我们这边多数没有挂，但凡是挂上的都能成功地显示。（请参考讨论页含{{模板:ArticleHistory}}的特色条目“香港”，与讨论页没有挂{{此模板}}的特色条目“则天文字”。但“则天文字”有维基百科:主题/汉字文化圈的评审结果，所以 projectbanners 功能被运用。）除非把每个被评审过的条目与列表都挂上{{模板:ArticleHistory}}，否则这个JS在这边用处不大。--Shibo77 2010年7月9日 (五) 05:13 (UTC)

不是你说的问题。这个js可以在对话页挂有专题横幅模板的条目顶部显示一个专题表格，给出所属的各个专题，以及在各个专题中的质量和重要性评级结果。但是目前对于中文命名的专题横幅，在表格中无法显示该专题模板名称。与{{ArticleHistory}}无关--百無一用是書生 (☎) 2010年7月9日 (五) 06:36 (UTC)

用户讨论页存档遇到了防滥用过滤器的拦截

本人将自己的用户对话页存档时，遇上防滥用过滤器的拦截：“此操作已被系统自动确认为有害并已被阻止。如您认为您的编辑是建设性的，请与管理员联系，并告知他们你刚才试办的事。跟您操作相配的滥用编辑规则之概述为： Privacy issues”（本人是管理员也一样被拦截了）。这个错误使用户不能将对话页的留言进行存档处理，请问有熟悉防滥用过滤器的人士能够协助修正此错误吗？ -- Kevinhksouth (Talk) 2010年7月11日 (日) 04:34 (UTC)

问：Language Converter

Hi!

I'm a user of portuguese Wikipedia and we are considering the possibility of use of LanguageConverter for portuguese variants (used in 安哥拉, 佛得角, 赤道几内亚, 几内亚比绍, 澳门, 莫桑比克, 圣多美和普林西比 and 东帝汶). There are some aspects of the system which we don't understand yet, so if anybody could help us answering the following questions, it would be welcome! =)

• What is the difference between a table at MediaWiki namespace (like MediaWiki:Conversiontable/zh-hans) and those at /includes/ZhConversion.php? Do they have different purposes? Or the last one is also update based on the MediaWiki: tables from time to time?
• I was looking at Special:Preferences and noticed it is possible to choose zh and also each of the variants (zh-Hans, zh-Hant, zh-CN, zh-HK, zh-SG, zh-TW) both in the "Language" field and the "Variant" field. What is the difference between those two fields?

Our proposal of using the LanguageConverter at pt.Wikipedia is at this page. We currently have some drafts of what our conversion tables would look like (for example, MediaWiki:Conversiontable/pt-br and /pt-pt), and also a draft of the PHP files which seems to be needed for the feature.

Do you know what else we would need in order to get the conversion system for wikiprojects in portuguese language?

• They get merged when the tables are being loaded.
• Language is for wfMsg* functions; it's the same as other wikis. Variant is for language converter, which works on the whole page content when it's ready, and convert it to the variant user specified. Liangent (留言) 2010年6月29日 (二) 03:07 (UTC)

MediaWiki namespace tables override the ones in PHP, and they can be edited by sysops without sysadmins' participation AFAIS. It's very easy to introduce mistakes in Chinese conversion, so the tables need to be changed again and again.

I found a comment at bugzilla:18870#c2 about the use of $extraUserToggles and then noticed this change. It seems not used anymore, so maybe the code should be removed from MessagesZh_hans.php too?

Do you know if it is possible to get a diff like this between the text of an article in two variants (without doing two edits as I did...)? This would help us when reviewing the conversions which are made by the tables in MediaWiki namespace, and to find false positives. If this doesn't exists yet, do you think it would be difficult to do?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong in this test. In the first edit, using only the tag for title, the title of the page changes accordingly to the variant I choose, but in the second edit, when I add a tag in the text, the conversion is made only in the text (not in the title). I guess removing it does no harm.

I don't think there's an easy way to do that with the built-in converter, because the converter doesn't work on wikitext level, but rendered HTML instead. (if you use another converter with the same table attached, there can be a bunch of solutions.)

• Would it be difficult to extend the current syntax of the MediaWiki conversion tables in order to allow the use of the special characters ^ (start of a word) and $ (end of a word) in some rules as in Extension:Transliterator? For example, we would like to create rules like "ação => acção" (for the word "action" in pt-pt and pt-br) without affecting words that contains the string "ação", like "coração" (heart), "situação" (situation), and so on. It would also be very useful to have a rule for "^Ação => Acção" (with uppercase "A" for the first character of the word) added automatically when a rule like "^ação => acção" is added to the table, so that we don't need to add two rules per word (one for lower case and other for upper case in the first character).   • I don't think it's easy. The converter currently uses PHP's strtr function to do conversion and without it the conversion would be unacceptably slow (and even it doesn't have a very good performance now). Many conversion errors here are also introduced by such cases (like your "ação") and our only (global) solution is to add some longer conversion rules. If the feature can be implemented we may also take advantage of it, but before we benefit from that, the blocker is that it's very difficult to do word segmentation in Chinese. WordPress插件

我抽空开发了一个简单的WordPress插件，可以在文章录入界面录入几个关键词，然后浏览文章的时候会自动生成到维基百科的链接。已经在我自己的Blog上实验成功了。API还有改进的余地，但本着开源早释出的做法，我现在已经把这个不成熟的版本释放出来。请参看下面链接：

但后来想再尝试执行程式的时候,发生以下错误

明白了。英文里很巧地躲过了这个问题，τ子→en:tauon，T介子→en:T meson。另，“Τ介子”和“T介子”有什么区别？
