剧情
[编辑]故事背景为1987年的加州，吉姆·怀特带着妻子和两名女儿来到了拉丁人为主的城镇麦克法兰，在麦克法兰高中田径队任教练。他创建了一个七名学生组成的越野跑团队，经过长期训练和对一些艰苦生活的克服，该队伍终于获得州冠军，成为当地拉丁人的骄傲。
