丑闻

2021年1月，一个匿名Instagram用户释出多张截图，声称这些是汉默发送给多名女性的简讯[32]。简讯内容涉及性幻想，包含暴力[33]、强暴[34]和食人[35]。汉默与他的律师称这些内容不真实[32]。截图流出后不久，另有两名自称和汉默交往过的女性告诉媒体，汉默对他们进行身心上的虐待[36][37]。2021年3月，该名Instagram用户表明自己是24岁欧洲女子Effie，她称汉默在2016年至2020年间和她断断续续地来往，并对她施以性侵和暴力[38][39]。洛杉矶警察局自2021年2月3日起开始调查一起汉默涉嫌其中的性侵案件[38][39]，12月时有消息向媒体透露，汉默不太可能因此被起诉[40]。
