俄罗斯门诺派教徒

俄罗斯门诺派教徒（Russian Mennonites） 是一组荷兰门诺会和普鲁士再洗礼派教徒后裔，1789年时在南俄罗斯设立住民地。自1800年代末期，许多俄罗斯门诺会教徒移居到西半球国家，其余的人被强迫迁移。俄罗斯门诺会教徒虽然母语是门诺低地德语， 他们也会讲多语。

起源

早在十六世纪中期， 门诺派教徒开始从低地国家 （特别是菲仕兰）， 佛兰德斯及普鲁士维斯瓦三角洲地区移居出来， 寻求宗教信仰自由和避免兵役。 他们在该地区逐渐取代其荷兰语和弗里斯兰语并开始使用门诺低地德语。门诺低地德语是个特殊的门诺派语言，三百多年之期间在俄罗斯南部之维斯瓦三角洲地区发展出来的。到了1772年的瓜分波兰时期， 大多数维斯瓦三角洲的俄罗斯门诺派土地成为普鲁士王国一部分. 腓特烈·威廉二世在1786年承了普鲁士王位， 规定门诺派教徒必须付重税才继续允许军事豁免。

移民到俄罗斯

俄罗斯帝国之叶卡捷琳娜大帝在1763年发表宣言， 邀请所有欧洲人来移民到俄罗斯便将领土， 特别是在伏尔加河地区. 出于多种原因，一大批德国人响应了这邀请。普鲁士维斯瓦三角洲的门诺会教徒后来派代表进行谈判与延长这宣言，并在1789年俄罗斯皇帝保罗一世同他们签署了一项新协定。 移民到俄罗斯的普鲁士门诺会教徒是由雅各·赫普纳与约翰·巴什为领袖。 他们所迁居的领土在亚速海之西北边， 该土地刚在1768年-1774年俄土战争从奥斯曼帝国吞并出来的. 在1789年，他们第一块殖民地成立在第聂伯河附近之乔剃扎乡村。第二个较大的殖民地，墨罗兹哈乡村成立于1803年。

宗教生活

mennonite are a christian religion. they believe in jesus christ as the saviour of the world. they follow the doctrine of non resistance and seek to love at peace with all men. They obey the laws of the abiding country if it does not conflict with the teachings of the bible. Mennonites believe that they are a citizen of god's kingdom and that his laws come first.
