English: Located in Ashiya, Hyogo, the Koshino House is known for its integration with nature. The client is a fashion designer, Hiroko Koshino. Unlike Ando's earlier houses, the site was large and the rescrictions was minimal. Ando considered the optimal light conditions for each space and approaches for a sloped modern architecture. For years after the completion, Ando added an atelier. This residence is an evolution from the Urban Guerrilla House and an indication of future endeavors. |
