G/O Media Inc.是一家美国的媒体控股公司[1]，拥有并经营多家数位媒体品牌，包括Kotaku、The Root、The Inventory和Quartz。[2][3]

该公司旗下的媒体品牌从2023年开始逐渐减少，已经被出售的品牌有Gizmodo、Jalopnik、Deadspin、Jezebel、The AV Club、The Takeout和The Onion，也就是说构成公司名称的G以及O都已经被出售。[4]

历史

G/O传媒成立于2019年4月，当时私募基金公司Great Hill Partners向Univision以18.9亿美元购入了Gizmodo媒体集团与洋葱报，[5][6]并整并为现在的G/O传媒。

收购与出售

2020年2月，ClickHole（英语：ClickHole）被出售给Cards Against Humanity（英语：Cards Against Humanity）。[7]

2022年4月，收购石英财经网。[8]

2023年3月，生活黑客被出售给Ziff Davis。[9]

2023年11月29日，Jezebel（英语：Jezebel (website)）被出售给Paste（英语：Paste (magazine)）。[10]该网站在11月9日停止更新，并解雇了所有员工，[11]并在12月29日重新发布。[12]

2024年3月11日，Deadspin被出售给了Lineup Publishing，后者随即解雇了前者的所有员工。[13]

2024年3月，影音俱乐部被出售给Paste。[14]

2024年3月，The Takeout被出售给Static Media（英语：Static Media）。[14]

2024年4月，The Onion被出售给了Global Tetrahedron。[15]

2024年6月4日，Gizmodo包含员工一起被出售给了欧洲的媒体公司Keleops Media。[16][17][18]

2024年10月，Jalopnik被出售给了Static Media。
