台南開山街上，一年一度土地公生日。 Thóo-tī-kong（土地公）、Tu-ti-bag-gung（土地伯公）is God of Fortunes and neighborhood. People will celebrate this day called Tsò-gê/Tsuè-gê（做牙）.The last time celebrates the Tsò-gê of the year in the lunar calendar is called Bué-gê（尾牙）. The Bué-gê( Weiya / Mi-nga , 尾牙 ) in modern time has another role in Taiwanese culture and society. It is not only a religious ceremony, but also became a social event in many different companies. Employers will treat their employees a traditional banquet on Weiya to show their thankfulness for their employee’s hard working in the past year. |
