宽尾鹦鹉族(学名:Platycercini,台湾作澳洲草原鹦鹉族),为鹦鹉目鹦鹉科下的一个族。[1]现下属10属33种,其模式属为爱尔兰动物学家尼古拉斯·艾尔沃德·维格于1811年所建立的玫瑰鹦鹉属。[1][2]
分类学
[编辑]本族由英国鸟类学家普里多·约翰·塞尔比于1836年以亚科层级的“Platycercina”建立,同义于当时的宽尾鹦鹉亚科。[1][3][4]
现为吸蜜鹦鹉亚科下的虎皮鹦鹉也曾为本族成员之一,但后续的研究证明其关系与吸蜜鹦鹉及无花果鹦鹉更为接近而被重新分类。[5][6][7][8][1]
